I am wanting to know how to adress a dp415 dimmer pack to make par can have their own channel. I am using a elation 16 channel stage settings !

u didnt insult me cuz i Have read it i just dont really understand it ! it confuses me cuz i have 3 dimmer packs 8 par 36 , 4 par 46 and 4 par 56! so wat dmx do i go by !

DMX can get frustrating if you don't understand it.
most all user manuals explain use with the understanding that the user knows and has knowledge of DMX.
User manuals do not explain the DMX protocol. If so then the manual would have 40 more pages to it.

You say you are using Elation 16ch stage setter.
How many dp415 do you have?

I have 3 dimmer packs and yes i am using a 16 stage setter console

ok.
dimmer pack 1 - dip switch 1 on
dimmer pack 2 - dip switch 1 and 3 on
dimmer pack 3 - dip switch 1 and 4 on
confirm you are switching them to ON and not to OFF.

Pack 1 will be channel 1 - 4
pack 2 will be channel 5 - 8
pack 3 will be channel 9 - 12

thnx ! so if i i get aanother dimmer pack and want to use channels 13-16 i need to dip switch on 1 and 5

dimmer pack 4 - dip switch 1, 3 and 4 ON.

Pack 4 will be channel 13-16
