My interface isn't recognized any more.
USB Suite2-BC

I was running Compu Show, the June 7 release, and everything was working fine.
I had an issue with the behavior of the size control for the Page Buttons and thought I'd
try the latest beta Nov 29. The interface wasn't recognized and so I uploaded the firmware
included in the beta version through the TOOLS program as suggested by the message.

The interface was recognized by the TOOLS program and I hit the Load FIRMWARE as it did and
messaged that the upload was succesful.

I forgot to unplug the dmx OUT and IN cables which were live during the upload.
Was this a fatal mistake.

Is there a way to get the tools hardware program to recognize the interface or for that matter
to be recognized again by the June 7 release.

Some further info:
A setup that was working using a PC WinXP(32.
Upon connecting to usb port with no dmx cables connected
The USB recognizes the hardware correctly

output green initally ON, then goes OFF
yellow ON
red flashing

input red ON

Upon engaging Comp Show program June 07

output green stays OFF
yellow ON
red ON

input red ON

message of no hardware detected
sn:0

Also on the laptop (Windows 7) that the upload firmware was done I deleted both Compu Show versions and their folders and reloaded Compu Show June 7. Driver loaded OK but the software didn't recognize the interface.

output green On yellow ON red ON
input red ON

This was the condition when first connecting to the USB port as well as when the Compu Show program was run.

My guess is that something critical in the EEPROM got erased.
I hope not.

So you updated the firmware with the June release or the Nov. beta?

Connecting the interface green, yellow, and red are ON.

then

Running Nov Beta green, yellow, and red are ON.

The intelligent USB device isn't shown in the hardware device manager.

When I unistalled and reinstalled the Nov beta and connected the interface the message "found new hardware" did not appear.

Hope this is clearer.

The G Y R ON is what the indicators have settled to. Previously there seemed to be no logic to the led state, sometimes the G would be ON and sometimes OFF, but never just slowly blinking. Sometimes the R would be blinking fast and other times just ON. Always the Y would be ON.

I'm at a dead end right now.
I've had the interface a bit over a month.
