Hello all,
I have a quick question. When I am running my CompULive, with the hardware I can make scenes no problem. But it makes scene's by itself... It makes them the default Scene 1, Scene 2 names and It will not allow me to delete them. Any Thoughts? Gavin Haynes Rhythm Entertainment E-Mail: gavin@rhythmentertainment.ca |

To rename a scene you simply clcik on the scene you wish to rename and then click on buttons then select rename. You can also name them before you create them when the new scene window pops up. Let me know if this helps you out.

Sorry, My writing was not very well put.
Let me try again... Elation CompU is making Scene's by itself. Like they are there but I did NOT make them. they are like automaticly made. Then when I try to delete them it wont let me. It says: "Operation Failed" Like its automaticly making them. every like 10 min there is another one. they are blank. And then its like they're locked. Any ideas? Oh ok. That's different then. By the way welcome to the forums. Couple questions for you to help me know the next best course if action. Which software version are you running of compu live? Nov 4 2008? Sept 29 2009? Are you in begginer mode or expert? Let me know.

Sorry, ANother Question.
If I am wiring from the DMX Box (CompU) To: LED LED Intimidator Spot 250 LED LED Intimidator ..... How would I identify the 2 Moving heads to star on diff adresses like in the proggi. How would I make it think one is starting on 14 and one is startiong on 30? So basicly i am asking how do you change the starting dmx address for the 2nd moving head (as it is not in sequence after the first 1) if that makes sense?? Gavin Haynes Rhythm Entertainment E-Mail: gavin@rhythmentertainment.ca |

That is simple. when creating a new page select the starting address of one of the spots and then select number of fixtures 1. Then a new fixture page for Mh #2. This will generate 2 separate fixture pages but both are the same lights. Make sense? you don't need to straight patch but I would advise you to straight patch as it saves channels.

Hey, We are only using small ammounts of lights so it doesnt really make a differance in channels. (I Think :P)
The Problem I encounter when putitng them on serperate pages is that I can not make a program with them both running from the same Scene. So like premade scenes wont aply tro both. I would have to start 2 at once. I would like to have them both on same page so I clikc one scene and they both work. Thanks Gavin Haynes Rhythm Entertainment E-Mail: gavin@rhythmentertainment.ca |

I can do that and thats fine.
But for my origional question i think is; If they are on the same page but not DMX in sequence can I tell it that the #2 Moving Head starts on a differant DMX than what it would be if it were in sequence? Gavin Haynes Rhythm Entertainment E-Mail: gavin@rhythmentertainment.ca |

What is a dmx in sequence? Are you talking about changing the address of the fixture after it is in the fixture page? Be as specific as you can. I'm not sure i understand what you are trying to do. Thanks.

Okay, the list above is the order I am DMXing the lights. from begginging to end.
I want to know if u can tell the program that the 2nd moving head starts on a differant DMX adress. Like if I say Fixures:2 Then it puts the DMX adesses in sequence Light1 Light2 Can I tell the program that they arnt in order and change the DMX adress after the scnlibrary addin menu. So if its a 14 channel light: can I tell it that: Light1 Starting DMX: 1 LED1:15 Light2 Starting DMX: 19 instead of the deault of what it thinks...: Light1 Starting DMX: 1 Light2 Starting DMX: 15 LED: 31 ... Sorry i can really explain. not my specialty Gavin Haynes Rhythm Entertainment E-Mail: gavin@rhythmentertainment.ca |
