is there a way on the 1024ec compu live to set the roboscans to only go so far with the travel on the mirrors x and y

yes there is. It is called limit pan and tilt.It would be in the fixture page settings. So click on your robo scan page and then go yo page> then settings. now under channels section you will see a button that has " X/Y" on it and that is where you limit the pan and tilt for each fixture individually. Or were you talking about adjusting scenes and switches and stuff? There are a few options.
