I have several Chauvet lights and I read in a forum here that they can cause issues with other brands. I noticed that when creating buttons in Easy Show the other brands will not work, but the Chauvets do. Typically, I'm creating a button (cycle) for each song. Let's say I have 5 sonds (buttons) scheduled for a night. ALL LIGHTS work fine in the first button of the list, but with subsequent buttons only the Chauvets work. What can I do to correct this problem. Someone mentioned using a splitter.

That's weird. Usually it is the chauvet fixture not working and then everything else after them going haywire. Or just the chaivets not working. Answer the following:
how long is your dmx cable run?

Is it actual dmx cable?

Is the line terminated?

Which fixtures are you using?

Please be more descriptive when you say not working. Give me exact details. The more details I have the better I can assist you.

I was actually going to buy chauvet color palettes this week... Are you saying I might run into the problems above? I thought this was only for the bars. Let me know!!

The only fixture i know of from chauvet that is known to not work with compu live is the colorstrip.

Yea thats what I thought I remembered. Awesome! Im buying 8 palettes and 8 mega bars!~ I hated renting lights that were only like 100 dollars more to buy..

I have two Color Palette 2's and haven't had any problems. I haven't experienced any issues with any of my other Chauvet lights either.
