Hey Jingles

Was wondering if you could get me a fixture profile for the Chauvet Tri Tour ASAP.

I need this profile to be pretty exact so Ive attached the PDF of the fixture. The DMX values start on page 14 for the 10 channel mode which I will be running these fixutes in.

http://www.chauvetlighting.com...1-Tri_Tour_UM-WO.pdf

Thank you very much and hope your doin well.

Any reason why this profile wouldnt work?

Should I be able to run them in 10 channel mode?

Not really sure what the problem could be....

Define "not work" and i can let you know of a possible issue. you are using compu Live software right? not compu show?

Sorry yeah compu live...

Ive just been trying to get the 1st fixture to work. I have it addressed to 1 and when I try to send signal to it nothing happens.

Could it be that the 10th Channel is the ID Addressing? Im not sure how that works...

Also Im running XLR cable to the fixture... Another potential issue but I have used many XLR in the past with no problems and these XLR are right out the box.

Any suggestions?

I've never heard of the Id channel doing that before. Are you using DMX cables or mic XLR cables? Trust me there is a difference. Is the fixture set to the proper channel mode? do you have the dimmer fader (channel 1) up to dmx value 255? Is there any sort of light on the fixture that lets you know it is receiving dmx or not?
Let me know.
Sincerely,

Yeah I am using mic XLR.

I feel you on the difference between the two.

The Chauvet 1 Tri Tour is a newer fixture so maybe it doesnt except anything but DMX...

I had the Dimmer value all the way up and the was no indication that the fixture was not receiving signal other than nothing happening on the fixture...

does it have a light on it that either flashes or goes off when DMX is present/missing? It also could very well be a picky fixture and not like Mic XLR cables. It is known to happen. Lastly are you positive your interface is being detected by compu live and is outputting DMX (Red led flashing fast on interface)?
you just may have to email chauvet about using it with mic cables.
