does american dj or elation make a Wireless DMX Transmitter / Receiver that will work with the 1024 ec program so i dont have to run so many dmx cords ?
The only thing preventing me from integrating wireless in my DMX configuration is price!!
I still am not totally sold on 2.4Ghz stuff, but I'm running into increasingly complicated and cumbersome wiring to get the jobs done. Wireless will be a major time saver.
However, do keep in mind that there is a reason why it costs so much. For me, the cost of 1 transmitter and 3 receivers is just too far out of my budget for the time being.

I dream about the day where not only all fixtures are wireless, but the old fixtures have a sort of dmx wireless receiver about the same size as a dmx terminator

There are some affordable wireless DMX out there. You just have to look. The ones I have only transmit 393 ft vs the 3000 ft on the EWDMX Sytem. But I am only doing small and mid sized clubs and venues, and I am rarely going to be back even half that far. They also work great with Compu.
