I encountered a strange issue maybe some of you guys can help me solve. The pan stop bar on two of the units sheared off the stop nut, allowing the units to spin past limit and wadding the cables up into a spaghetti like ball in the base. These units possibly have bad homing sensors or missing magnets. Upon inspection of other working units, I noticed heavy impact marks on their stop bars as well. The belts are tensioned correctly, the position feedback works, the homing sensor is working. Any ideas as to why and how the overshoot happens? Thanks in advance.

I did not see an error on the working units, I just was cleaning them while they were all down and noticed the impact marks after servicing two damaged units. The units are powered off nightly, are the error messages logged in memory?

there would not be any stored error codes. if the unit is not "slammming" when panning or tiltiing,
then these wear marks are normal during the life of the unit.

Would an error on the tilt motor (RSER)stop the manual dmx inputs from working? In manual dmx input mode, I am only able to set the value on the laser channel only, the rest will only change 1 step, usually from 255 to 0 or 254 but no where in between. Test function operates steppers correctly except tilt.
