Got it
the dimmer and shutter were switched, BUT only on blackout. ha ha on programming they were right. I'm working on writing a fix now.

i still find it strange it happened on two totally different consoles.

hey esteban can you tell me exactly what values channels 11 and 12 are on when u progrma this black out? also about the CMY, on the design spot 575 elation offers CMY mixing. i don't believe they have CMY as a option to be put in on the design spot 250. thanks. jingles.

Hi Esteban, that's odd.
The fixture black out works fine for us, and up until now we have never heard of such an issue.

If you manually play with the shutter channel, you will see that the shutter closes really fast.. the shutter can't dim.

So what I think is happening is that when you activate the blackout function, it is for some reason using the dimmer channel instead of the shutter channel.

Blackout should be directed to the shutter.

Give these things a try.. I hope it works for you.
