Last week one of my DS250 started acting oddly. When I would strike the lamp, it would stop receiving dmx. Units downstream of it would still act normally though. If I unplugged the dmx out it would start acting crazy (like a playback but it wasn't what was programmed). I tried adding a terminator directly to the dmx out to no effect. Using the onboard display to look at dmx values showed seemed to be showing garbage values (constantly changing). Now that I have it down on my workbench it is not receiving dmx at all whether the lamp is on or off. Anyone got any ideas?

it does sound like the data is getting corrupted. you may want to swap the complete display and see if the problem transfers. Best Regards, Gines Gines Elation service manager

Gotta love the odd ones. I swapped the faceplate display with another unit and both units work properly. I'll keep them on the workbench for a few more days for testing just in case though.
