Are the Design Spot 250's going to have an interchangeable colour wheel at all? and will they be able to be fitted to the existing Design Spot 250's? There was some talk about the intechangeable colour wheel a little while ago, but I haven't heard anything since. That would make this already awesome fixture even better.

Yes, we do have a new theatrical DS250 color wheel. The part number is DS250CW2. To determine what the best way to replace it on your specific fixture and to order the part, please give a call to Elation Service at 866.245.6726.

Very soon, we plan to have 2 different fixture models for the change in color wheel.

I think your question was more in lines of a color wheel with replaceable colors.
This was suppose to happen to the Design Spot 250. However as it stands this feature will not be available with the current Design Spot 250.
We have talks of a Design Spot 250LX which may be available by LDI in November.

Thanks for that. Bit of a shame, but oh well. I am really really happy with our DS250's. We have used them on a few jobs now and our clients have been impressed with them also.
Will you guys be at PLASA this year at all, as I will be there and would like to meet the Elation crew.

the trade show in England is PLASA, apparently it is pretty big too. I think the one in Germany is Musikmesse. Similar type of show though.

Would be good to meet up with Eric if he is going to the show in London.
