In my multi issues post you said
"If the magnet looks fine check the spacing between the magnet and the sensor.
if the gap is too wide this may be the issue. also check continuity on the harness
as well. if all looks good i would suggest the sensor first."

The harness checked out ok.


The sensor is very close to the wheel. in fact it was actually rubbing against the wheel at one location, so I have bent the sensor back but it is still very close.

Since this is the only LED unit I have, I can not swap the sensor or the processors. if I buy the sensor and chips, can they be returned if they don't fix my problems?


lastly the service manual I received does not match the head PCB in my unit. My unit's PCB is labeled "PCB0405B"

Any suggestions before I mailed it in.
