Worked with a house rig recently. Couldn't identify one set of fixtures. The house LD said they were DS 575. He was running them off LightFactory or something and the personality he was using only had 16 channels. I didn't get a chance to run the lift up and figure out what they were but my personality for a DS 575 has 24 channels.

I don't know much about them, except that

Channels 1 - 4 are pan and tilt.
5 is the color wheel
6 is a gobo wheel
7 is gobo rotation
8 is the other gobo wheel
9 is the shutter
10 is the dimmer
11 is focus
12 is a 3-facet prism
13 is iris
14 - 16 I didn't get to but I think they're things like macros, control channels, etc.

The only thing I remember is that the gobo wheel on channel 7 had a multi-star in position 7 and a cone in position 8. There were 9 gobos on that wheel (including open). Other than that I don't know.

I tried the Power Spot 575 personality and it would move the head, but nothing else. Any thoughts?

No, it was 20 feet in the air and I don't have anything scheduled for that venue so I doubt I'll be going back. More for my information and for the fact that I never delete show or house info once I have it. Never know when it'll come in handy.

It was a moving head. The house LD said they bought it 18 +/- months ago. It looked fairly dim for a 575, but half the lamps in the rig were either misaligned or very old. Their DS 250 were half as bright as I'm used to. There was a variety of stuff there; DS 250, Geni OBI Wash 2K, Irradiant LED strips, ADJ CMY zooms. It seemed like they just hung whatever they could get. Half of it didn't make sense as far as location or focus.
