ProColor not responding to DMX

I have an Elation ProColor that is not responding to DMX signals. When I turn it on, the lamp fires up, and the shutter wheel and Color wheel auto adjust. I am pretty sure its not my dmx controller as it worked great with many other fixtures I worked on today. The only theory I have is that this fixture was sent off to be cleaned and when they put it back together they plugged the DMX connector into the wrong three pin slot on the Board. There are 4 spots where this 3 pin plug could possibly go. There are 3 setup vertically and then 1 to the right of the bottom connector. So they are making an "L" I already tried plugging it into all 4 slots and still it did not respond to DMX signals.

Any thoughts?

Is that the kind of part that requires soldering it onto the board?

Here is the chip I don't see those numbers on it.
Is it possible to replace the PCB board with one of the newer models? or will that not work?
