I bought 4 design spot 250s from a liquidator. He said they did not work but I have seen in the past that these things can be easy fixes. I opened and turned on the first fixture and only the fan will run. The dmx display doesn't have anything on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

hello, on the first unit check the fuses located on the main PCB. the main pcb is located directly behind the display.

regarding the 2nd unit with the multiple errors.
it sounds like you may have an issue with the wire harness. please remove the covers and inspect. BTW A495 is the DMX address the unit was set to.

Best regards.

ok, well this explains everything. i would caution you on repairing flooded units. first all stepper motors need to be inspected since typically they will rust. then all pcb need to be replaced regardless. this is the starting point.

Let me know.

The units do not move, plugged in or not, so all steppers are fried.

at that point i would caution you on purchasing parts. between the cost of all the PCB, the stepper motors, and (maybe) any PSU. it would be cheaper to purchase a new or preowned unit.
