designspot 250 internal programing query

Hiya,

was doing an install tonite, a designspot 250, with scenes dumped into the internal memory of the fixture from my light jockey.

I had a heck of a time with the timings of the pan and tilt between scenes when playing back in a program.

I adjusted the "movement speed" option in the "edit scene", but couldn't get the desired effect (a slow transition between scenes when playing back the internal program consisting of the scenes i had dumped in...)

I tried the speed at 0, 1, 50, 100, 200, 250, but there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how fast the head would move. I made all the scenes the same "movement speed" and some would move slowly, some fast..... very confusing, and extremely irritating, especially with the client literally breathing down my neck.....

anybody got any ideas?

thanks.

Thank you Gines for your prompt attention.

Um, I suppose I wasn't clear, it is only one fixture...

I think perhaps that the light moves more quickly between certain scenes because the move ments are less distance to move?

Anyways, is it the higher value of the movement speed faster or slower... this could help. Also, is there a way to switch the display orientation on this fixture? This one is hanging upsidedown and I am going blind trying to work with it.

Thanks again, it is unlikely that I will be in front of the fixture during business hours to call the support line.....

best regards,
=MATT=
