Recently I bought two Elation Design spot 250s.
They say they are software 1.2.
They have 6500 hours.
The only real problem is that I just cant get them to work with my ADJ Stage Desk 16.
They both say "A001" but have that falshing and go into mic or auto modes after reset.
I also cant figure out master slave.
They both are working very well other then the control isue. I am not using a DMX terminator.Do you HAVE to use one?
Thanks alot Elation.
Keep making great lights.

If they are blinking, they aren't receiving DMX signal. Check your cables and also make sure you are using DMX cables.

An AMDJ Stage Desk 16 is also note the best controller in the world for intelligent lighting. I would look into upgrading that for an easier time controlling and programing the fixtures.

Also you may want to check the DMX polarity switch on the controller as well. But i agree as well.....using lights like those deserve a controller made for movers not for par cans. Maybe only for testing them but not much more.

yea, i have them hooked up and working on a chauvet dmx 7, but its only 12 channels.
I also had a dmx 40A but its shorted out.
Thanks guys ill try the polarity on the stage desk. I think because its a dimmer board mainly that the RDMX isnt working with it.
One other thing on one of them the gobo rot.
makes a strange grinding like noise, at full rotation, but only at certain X/Y positions.
The color wheel also makes a similar noise
