I have 5+ sets of the Octostrips (i believe that they might be the OctostripII) and am having trouble with a lot of dead diodes, usually in groups of about 4, and color specific dead spots. Has anyone had any experience with this? What did you do? Is it possible to purchase only the actual LED strip and input, without the chasis and diffusion? I am down to 3 clean sets, so any feedback would be great!

Hi Donut, send me your info to service at elation lighting dot com and I will quote you on replacement led pcb. On a side note it is very rare for those leds to go out on those strips.
