I will be doing the lighting for a small event which is to have a couple of musical groups perform. I am trying to decide between if I should use Pinbeams or Par38s to do the lighting. Since I will be purchasing new fixtures I want to make sure I have thought it out before I part with my cash.

Any Ideas, thoughts or comments?

I should have posted this in the general topic forum, sorry.

Well if you are going for effect go for the pinbeams. and get lots. if you want light get pars. or get both pars to light the stage and the pinbeams for effect.
