I know that the Design Wash Pro has a gel holder but is that basically it? Is everything else the same as far as brand of LED's, drivers, power, and so forth?

The Case design is the same but that is where it ends. The LED's are different, the electronics and the connectors. 108IP is designed for permenant outdoor install and the 36 Pro is designed for production / temporary outdoor.

The DLED 108 is IP65 rated. The first number means its completely dust proof. The second means it can be subjected to light jets of water aka rain. The DLED 108 also weighs about 1 pound more then the DLED 36 Pro because of different internals for weather proofing.

The other difference is the DLED 36 Pro has power in and thru, linkable up to 10 units.

Basically like ELoader said, the DLED 108 is designed for outdoors use and the DLED 36 Pro is indoors.
