I have several design spot 250's with software version 1.2 and 1.3, in version 1.3 there is a slow-fast dimming setting, I don't think it is in version 1.2, or I can't find it. On the version 1.2 ones, it takes 1 to 2 seconds to dimm out. On the version 1.3's in the fast mode it dimms immediatly. That said, I want the version 1.2's to dimm fast. The slow dimming doesn't work well for strobe effect. Anyone have suggestions, or can I upgrade the software in the field.

Hi Steve, you can update the 1.2 to 1.3. there are a total of 7 ic chips. 2 on the head pcb/ 3 on the arm/ one on the main pcb and one on the display. upgrading them will insure that all your units function the same. if you like you can give support a call at 323-213-4593 to order the IC chips. thank you
