Hello For CompuShow June 7, 2011. I'm having trouble getting switches to reset when a Cycle is played. Working on the Master Page, placing some switches there, creating a Cycle with them, and checking 'Reset other buttons when activated' for Cycle button behavior: Doesn't want to reset any of the already activated Buttons on the Master page when the cycle is played. Are you setting the "off" trigger for the switch in the cycle? for example say i am creating a cycle and I first hit my scene and then i hit my switch and let it play and then i hit my switch again to turn it off. Are you doing that? Or how are you programming it? Also The latest compu show release is now Feb 16th 2012. You can grab it HERE. Let me know how you like it. Sincerely,

Hello For CompuShow June 7, 2011 The Cycle has all ON events and Loops. It seems that the 'Reset other buttons when activated' option for the Cycle button is not working, by 'other' I assume to be Switches, Scenes, Cycles. Can anyone verify that this option is working or has special conditions for it to work. Starting from a state having NO dmx output a Record Cycle is initiated. Three Switches are pressed to establish a lighting scene. The recording is Stopped, the cycle containing three(3) ON switch events. The Cycle is edited, dragging the events, so they all turn ON at time zero(0) and the total cycle time is adjusted to, say 20secs. The Cycle is saved and set to LOOP. The Cycle Button is set to 'Reset other buttons when activated'. The purpose of the construction is to have the cycle Solo on the Master page, when initially pressed, and then manipulate the Look by bringing ON and OFF other Switches and Scenes. When the movement, as a movement in music, is finished another Cycle button is pressed to wipe the slate clean and the new Cycle running solo. You may wonder why I don't create a Scene since a Scene Button can act this way. A Scene, constructed by a multiple of Switches with each Button having controls such as Speed, Dimmer, Phase, Size. When the Switches are consolidated into a Scene these controls are lost, only their values, at the time of scene creation, are used. This compromises using the Console as input to these controls. A Cycle, on the other hand, maintains the control integrity of each switch. This is my current understanding. Cheers Dennis Dorling
