An OS X version of the the software is not in the works, you can use the software on your mac with parallels or boot camp.

Parallels will install a windows virtual machine on your Mac, it is a very nice solution. For more info visit: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/
You will need a copy of Windows to install. Michael Giardina Elation Lighting |

I have the same laptop (Macbook Pro) I am running Boot Camp to run elation compulive.
To do this you need the bootcamp software from apple (currently in beta stages to be relesed fully in the relese of OS X 10.5 Leppard) And you also need a (full) copy of windows xp home/pro (SP2) or vista. Then when you have installed bootcamp and windows it will run nativley on your macbook pro, and you can then use elation's software. You can also use a Virtual machine to emulate windows, i would reccomend VMware Fusion as it is better than parallels. However windows will not be running nativley so will not use all available CPU, RAM, VRAM etc so you may have trouble running the 3D visualiser in elation. I would reccommend going down the bootcamp route, as it will use your system to the full, and it will perform the same (actually BETTER) as a normal PC as if you were running it on a 'normal' computer. Hope This Helps, Chris Percival |
