the control levers off the sliders
on a Stagesetter 8 lighting board,
would I be able to buy replacement
electronic parts somewhere to
replace the broken sliders with?

Depending on the make. Call ADJ or Elation tech support and ask them. I replaced a few of them. I also work for a ADJ / Elation dealer.
