Hello all,

Now that I got my Operator 192 in full operating order, Still havn't figured out what was though it fixed itself, I can finally get back in the game. Anyway, I have the free version of compu live, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some pre-made "venues" i.e. an indoor Coliseum. Mainly why I am asking is because I have tried, but I'm not sure how to make an ellipsodial room (if it really is possible). Any suggestions I would appreciate. Thank You.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. What I want to do is from the for the 3d easy show design a coliseum environment that closely resembles the Greensboro Coliseum Complex or the RBC Center here in NC. Which I have seen impressive light systems. Even If I can't do that, I would also like Some kind of ready made layouts with staging and everything where all I have to do is add my lights and go. Thanks

Well i dont know about pre-made for your exact location. buti do have a video that explains how to place fixtures in the 3D environment and the same way you move fixtures is the same way you move objects. take a look at the video and see if it helps at all. if not i can surely give you some lessons via email. or record a screeen video of me making a small stage. sound good? here is the link

Thanks Jingles, You're a big help. I may take you up on those lessons. But I'll take a look at youre videos. They are quite interesting. They are great references for me. But in addition to that, Is it actually possible to make a "4D" room. i.e. A gym with a gable ceiling. Not like a cube room with a 'flat' ceiling. I think my church's gym would be a good starting point for me. Because it's a about a good 54'x75' foot room with a gable-shaped ceiling, Perfectly large for like a local concert.

You can make just about any object if your good at drawing on a grid. I'm not too sure what you mean by 4D? You can add textures or even pictures on the walls. You can do a lot with the 3d.
Let me know if you need anything else.
