Our church just purchased a Stage Pak-2, which comes with three DMX dimmer/switch packs. Right now, we've just got 8 par cans, but that's going to change. I am assuming that, since one of the settings on the board is 1 X 24, we could add three more dimmer packs to the board. Is this correct? If this is done, must the dimmer packs be distributed evenly (three packs per DMX output), or can I run up to six on one line?

I'm sure I'll have more questions later, but this will do for now.

Your assumption is correct, the Stage Setter 24 can run a total of 6 dimmer packs (4 channels per pack) in 1 x 24 mode. The controller has a built in splitter, so you can use both ouputs if needed.
