Hi,

I just got 2 elar exflood led. I want to connect them to my elation dmx operator, but the XLR cable that the exflood brings doesn't fin into the dmx operator XLR output.

I looks like the XLR cable that the exflood brings is bigger. I need to buy an adapter or something?

Thanks

you could use a regular DMX cable go from out on the op, to in on the flood. Should work. try it.

The regular DMX cable do not fit in the input or in the output! the exflood xlr in and out are bigger!! look the pics. in the three photos the left cable is the exflood and the one on the right is a normal DMX cable.

as you can see in the next photo the one of the left (elar exflood) is bigger than the other. and the pins are in a different position that the ones on the right (normal DMX cable)

hmm ok. I apologize. i was wrong. you do need to order adapters. Unless you bought these new. go back to where you purchased these and ask them if they have them. if not you will need to purchase adapters. Let me know and maybe i can help out. i apologize again for my previous post.
