Can any of the members please tell me if a Midi cable can be rewired and used as DMX control cable. The reason I am asking is, I have several lengths of midi cable that I am not using, and require some DMX control cable
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would not reccomend that at all. Your are talking about two entirely different streams of data. Also you do risk damage to the dmx chips and main pcb on your fixtures if you try this. So no would be my answer.
