During a gig today my powerspot 250 lamp shut down, i went and checked it out, all seemed fine after a reset, a few minutes later it did it again, then i realized that the fan in the head was not on, i did a reset again and watched it, what happened next was real strange, when the lamp turned on the fan stopped, I have not come across this before. Any suggestions? i dont know if this matters but it was 33 degrees today at this outdoor gig and the mover was on top of a speaker. Also another one of the movers was playing up, it was trying to go past the final step when it was tilted, maybe a magnetic sensor problem, are there still parts for a Power spot 250? cheers Ad in japan

Hello, via the menu go to specs and set the fans to high, then retry, if it still occurs then most likely there is an issue with a head pcb. Gines Gines Elation service manager Best Regards, Gines Gines Elation service manager

Thanks I will give it a go. If I need a head PCB that what would I be looking at to replace that part? That other issue with the tilt step motor not stopping where it should, is that just a case of replacing the sensor?

Email me at. Service@elationlighting.com and I will give you info on obtaining parts. With regards to your other unit, you are correct, most likely it is a sensor issue. Best Regards, Gines Gines Elation service manager
