I've the Elation DMX Operator, my question:

Is it possible to control the DMX operator with my notebook via th MIDI IN port using a software? Do you now a software that do that?

or how to control the DMX operator via MIDI IN port? what I need for?

Hi Gary,

Yes, the DMX operator has MIDI In.
If you take a look at the user manual you can see which notes trigger which scenes.
You cannot assign any note you want to any scene you want.. its pre assigned.

Is there a footcontroller that will work with this unit? I am looking to have control over scenes via a foot controller.
