Hi, out there

I want to use the Elation E-Node 8, to test
my Dmx lines from the different universes,
too see if all the universes are well working.

Running the chamsys magic Q software
( http://www.chamsys.co.uk/download) on my computer
( Windows 7/ 34 Bit) with a chamsys PC Wing
Using the Artnet out from the Software to control the Node,
all universes of the node are working, and i can control all
fixtures patched. But the Fixtures take an long time to respond on the new values

Testing today with an led Par (7 chn.), i have found that the Fixture
have really slow respond to the new values sending true the Node,
changing the colour values in the desk, from red to blue, the Fixture takes 1,5- to 2 Sec.
delay until to change from red to blue
The same with fixtures from Martin, mac 700 are also responding, only after a wile to new values
sending to the node

I have test it with an other 2 Universe Node, which is responding immediately, without delay

Setting on the Node : front panel SW. 1/ off SW.2 / on ( for Artnet protocol)
Artnet enconder set to universe 1 / node starting address
Subnet encoder 0

Settings PC/ IP adresse from Pc/ 2.16.0.3
Subnet / 255.0.0.0

Settings on the
desk ( chamsys software) : IP. 2.16.0.30
Subnet 255.0.0.0

hello Jean, you will have to contact Elation Europe, it sounds like you have an issue with

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem here.
Chamsys with e node-8. ledspots react with 1-2s delay. If I use DMX, no problems.
Any solution to this problem ?

In chamsys ( desk/ Software ), set the:
Reduced rate output on " Continuous "
Setup- View Settings- Hardware- Reduced rate output
