Hi all, bought a brand new Stage setter 8 today and am using it for a show in 2 days. Hoping someone can help me out with a little problem. I've used NSI products for years but that stuff just died and I found this little unit!!

When working with the 'flash scenes' - this dosent crossfade for me. I program the scene as the manual states and when I press the bump button to recall the scene, it just acts as a bump for that programed scene. I've adjusted the fade time and all that and am in 1x16 mode. When I use just a manual fader on my 1-8 channels it will dim acording to the time I set for the Flash scene, but that's about it.

I used this feature about 90% of the time with my NSI & it couldnt be easier, but am having no luck with this thing. Also, the manual seems to written pretty poorly,maybe I'm missing something.

Hello Kent,
Unfortunately the flash buttons are not affected by the fade time. The fade time on 1x16 will only affect the individual channel sliders as well as the playback chase patterns.

How many channels does your setup require? If 8 channels or less, you can use 8x8 mode. In this mode you can assign master scenes to sliders 9-16 and fade in and out manually.

yah thanks, looks like that will work. Not as simple as simply hitting a button and having it go to that scene but hey, for what I paid for this system.... ha! Still, only using 8 channels, this should be one of the most basic features conceivable.
