Pan problem on a Design spot 250

Hi all,

I am having a pan issue with one of my 2 DS 250s. One of them seems to be out of sync a bit but only in the pan. Is there a way to first tell which one is the culprit. Second, is it a user level fix? I am hoping it might have just skipped a few teeth on the drive belt. I am using ADJ My DMX sofware and was hoping to put the pan fader at a certian value to see which one is the offending unit. Is this possible? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ric

I would check both fixtures to make sure the pan settings are the same. The DS250 has a selectable pan range of either 630 degrees or 540 degrees. Go into the menu and scroll to 'DERG'. It will ten say either '630' or '540'. Hit enter to select the one you want.

Serra,

You were right on the money. I had sent that DS250 in for a warranty repair and it was set back to default settings. I changed it back to 540 and it was back to normal. Thanks a bunch!
