Hi All,

My name is Vincent, and I'm new to this forum! I'm from Montreal, Canada. I am a bassist player in a rock band. I'm also the soudman for my band, and I'm now, since last week, the official "lightman". We bought a brand new Elation Show Designer 2 CF, with Chauvet lights (2X Intimidator 1.0, 2X Q-mix, 8X LedPar 83, 1x Laserscan Lgg-3100X, 1X mega strobe and 1X smoke machine...) Lot of fun to come!!!! we have also a Midi pedal, a FCB1010 from Behringer to control the SD2... So it's a new world for me, so if you have some hint, please advise ;-)

WOW!! big purchase! sounds like a lot of fun. my only advice is learn your controller and your gear inside and out and just program till you can't anymore. lol. some of the best ideas for programming come when your not even trying. if u have any questions or run into any problems just ask here. peace! sincerely jingles. welcome!

Yes, it's a big purchase, but no more rental etc.... It's our stuff, and we can do what we want with it!!! And it's all installed at my home, in my basement, so just have to go downstaire, put the siwth on, and play!!!!
We are still missing some stuff, like the SD2, but as soon as I will get it, I will probably have A LOT of questions!!

I wasn't realy in lightning before... well, not at all to say!!! But now, since we bought that, I'm like a little kid that waits for its gift!

My big concern, I think, will be the "artistic! side of lightning. If you have some example or some website that shows some exemple of scene creation, can you please send them to me!!
