I have a friend that wants to sell me his compu pro dongle since he is getting out of the lighting business. I currently use a Magic 260 to program the lighting show to my bands music. It is a great board, but making shows for specific songs takes a long time and I have to have the lights connected to program (difficult in an apartment). From the attached comparison chart, the compu pro appears to have all the features I am looking for: MIDI in for triggering, Easy view, Easy Time lines, etc. My main question is does it have to be used with the 2004 software or can it utilize the 2006 version? I have both on my computer and while they are similiar, I like the 2006 version better. Any thought??

i do believe you can use it with either or. i too love the 06' version but just you wait till 08 comes out!!! i ahve heard stuf about 08' and you will def. be one happy customer once it comes out. that is all i will say for now. peace! jingles. p.s. welocme to the forums.

The O6' software will work fine with it.
Just download it from our website.
08' should work as well.
