Is there a place where I could just buy the DMX to USB dongle that I need. If my understanding is correct the software that comes with the bundles is the Compu Live '06. Am I right??? That way you can just download the free version and get the dongle??? Is this possible or should I just buy the whole thing??? Thanks.

no man. u need the dmx drivers for the software aswell. and besides the free version is limited. why not buy and have it be unlimited? and i know u can download the software drivers aswell but nothing is free and something is bound to have a restriction. peace! jingles!

If it was cheap and easy, every idiot would be out there saying they were LDs and Programmers.

I've spent a lot of money on my career. Wait till you have to buy a real CAD program.

You should check to see if they have student pricing with their software. Some companies have educational versions that are fully functional.

jthtiger im sorry but i don't see elation offering a discount on compuware packages unless your buying enough for a school to use. like numerous packages. and i don't see an individual discount for one student. but we will wait for a more offical word from them. but like anthony said man. you want the best you gon have to pay for it. lol. peace! jingles.
