Will NSI dimmer packs work on elation 1024EC PC lighting controllers?

as long as it has a dmx input. if it runs of microplex looks like you would have to get a convertor or change out your dimmers

Some do and some don't.
Compu 1024EC uses DMX-512 NSI has dimmers that use DMX-512 and other dimmers the use MultiPlex or MPX Do not for any reason in any way connect your Compu into the MPX port.. you will burn the DMX chip in the Compu 1024, and it will no longer work. Some NSI dimmers have both MPX and DMX. So it depends on your dimmers. John J Lopez Elation Professional |

Just have to add...
The reason you can't connect it to MPX is that NSI dimmers have voltage running through the signal cable out to power the console when it is being run with MPX. It's just a proprietary convenience thing for them, but it will destroy DMX chips for sure... Bad news if you hook that up. |
