A Mole, short for Molefay, or a Crowd Blinder. They can be 4, 6, 8, or 9 way. Wouldn't surprise me if there were some bigger one out there.

They are comprised of par 38/36 lamps, normally medium lenses.

so, where can I find them, I've googled them but the mainly come up with info no products.

I guess elation doesn't make any of them.

I am hoping I can find a used one cheap

so I am guessing they just plug in to a dimmer pack w/ one cord per column (as I never seen just on light in a column on in a column on these)

so basically these are just normal par can in a box, so what about cool down time?

Thanks

They are not cheap, and finding them used is hard to do. The design has been the same for years and years, and they are pretty indestructible, so people rarely get rid of them.

As for power, all of them are at least 2 cords, sometimes more. They also just plug into a regular old dimmer like you said. As for cool down time, they cool down like a standard Par would.

Elation use to make an LED version called the ELED Blinder 48. Maybe try looking for one of these?

I found a par 36 with 4, for $110 plus about $40 s/h but it is from some Chinese company plus it doesn't come with lamps so It would probably be $200 + for the lamps
