I bought a T16F Foot Control Chaser controller which was part of a package from American DJ which included the light stand and 4 par cans.

When I got it home, I realized I really wanted to be able to fade each channel individually.

So I bought a Chauvet DMX-40B Controller. I ran a DMX cable to the T16F which I put in slave mode but it seems like the T16F only wants to run through its scenes. It doesn't seem like its giving me the ability to control individual channels.

One person suggested putting the first channel on the Chauvet controller between 250-255 & then channels 2-5 would control each of the channels on the T16F but that doesn't work.

I'm guessing I need something else to plug each of the lights into and run to my Chauvet controller. Something that doesn't have built in scenes but... I've written to Elation 3 times and no one has written me back telling me what to buy.

Can anyone help?!?

And I should add... could the problem be that I do not have a DMX terminator in the DMX Out of the T16F?

Here's the setup I have...

Chauvet DMX-40B Controller > DMX Cable > DMX in of T16F with 4 par cans attached (1 in each plug)
