We just purchased a Stage Setter 8 with 8 par can 56 and a fog machine, FogStorm 700. I want to connect the fog machine to the dimmer pack to use it with the controller, but not sure how that works. I understand it has no midi or dmx inputs and I guess I assumed it would since it came with the Lighting Kit. Now I have to get a newer fog machine unless there is another way to connect it. My controller is about 100 feet away from the fog machine. Please give me some hints. the manuals and other forums threads have not explained much.

The 700 is not DMX controllable. I too bought a set-up with 2 scanners, a controller, and a smoke machine. It also is not DMX controllable. I would love to find a electronics geek to rewire the remote control for my smoke machine into being DMX controllable. There are DMX controllable smoke machines but they are pretty expensive.
