Hi,
I am using CompuLive with 16 Am DJ LED64 cans and 2 DJ Spot250's. I have two odd things happening, #12 and #16 pars DMX channels seem to be off. What i mean is that the program says that a certain fader should control RED but instead it controls color change. I set up the fixtures through the scan library and double checked all the dip switches and they are correct. Problem 2, I have the two DJSpot 250 set on either side of the drums on the riser. When I program to cross everything works fine. I save the show and close the program. Next show I hook everything up the same way and now the spots won't cross but instead both point the same way. Any ideas welcome. Thanks |

welcome to the forums.
1) what profile are you using for the LED cans? or did u make one yourself? 2)are you using reverse pan/tilt on the software which u can acess from the construction mode if u go to the folders of ur fixtures and check the boxes for reverse pan/tilt? this is all i can think of. peace! jingles. Jingles,
1.I am using the profile in the ADJ folder in the scan library. I did not try to make my own although I can if you think it would help. 2. I have tried it both ways. Same results. additionally I have tried it with terminator and without. It just seem weird. Thanks for the input Dan |

Hi Danny,
1. I think your Dip switch setting are not correct. Try setting the dip switch settings exactly the same as one fixture that works fine. If it works this way, then you know its the dip switch. if it still doesn't work, then its the fixture itself. 2. The software always does the same thing no matter what. If it doing the same thing as the other, It sounds like they have the same DMX address or you have one reveresed? I recommend set the fixtures up again, with a sticker or label indicating the exact posistion the fixtures need to be. Then do a few programs. Turn the software on and off again, and you will see it works fine. Best regards, John J Lopez Elation Professional |
