We are trying to decide on which Dongle to purchase but have not found a good "detailed" explanation on the differences between them. For the Compu 1024EC it just states Easy View (Limited 3D Offline visualizer) What exactly is limited in this software.

The 3d Easy view has a basic version and a full version, or limited and full mode.
Easy view offers roports, wire frame printing and wire frame layouts that can only be used in full mode.
Also, the 2048FC versions allow you to run a second software called EASY SHOW to easily synchronise lighting to music and video.
1024EC does not allow this.
And finally 2048FC allows MTC Time code and or PC clock triggering.
This allows you to set shows to start automatically for a themed lighting show.
1024EC does not offer these features.

unfortunately I am still baffled between the differences of Compu "Club" / "pro" etc etc...

i am currently doing a club install that will be starting off modestly with only 4 martin SCX700's, and some octopods/riva80's....

I won't need a huge setup, but the owner desires "idiot operation" like one touch "daytime lighting" or "evening lighting" for when I am not around to run the lighting...

What product would best suit my needs? I am told CompuCLUB is what I am looking for....

Well the Compu 1024EC which is the basic package can do what you need with ease.

You don't need anymore than this.
However if you want to be creative and have the daytime lighting scene button turn on at 5m and the evening lighting scene button to turn on at 7:45pm with the computers clock, then you will want the Compu 2048FC..

The bigger one is to get more automation and less person activity.
