Hello, thanks for the help. I was able to set the dip switches for each can, get into program mode, and to record and playback a few scenes. Now I have a question, can I make the cans react to music while in a scene? and how do I set pan and tilt from the DMX Operator. what is GOBO? thanks people, this group is great, & I hope to contribute back once I get better, (& am not such a newbe).

to put anything in a s.a. (sound active) mode it needs to be able to aces the soundactive mode in the DMX traits and those u can find on the manual. pan and tilt usually are the first two channles in a fixture if ur fixture has pan and tilt. what scaners are you using? if ur fixtures do have a sound active optin within the traits u just put the light at those values and record them into ur scene. if u need anything else. let me know. peace! jingles.

a GOBO is the pattern that a intelligent light can project. it is like a gel except with many times mulitple colors but can also be black and white. alot of lights have the option to include custom gobos so you can have your light project a name or a logo of you company. pretty cool huh?
