nice forum, hope I can get some help here. First of all; I'm now using martin LJ, but for some smaller shows I'm looking to buy myselfa console. I'm looking around, and right now, I have 2 options; Martin Xciter, or the Elation SD2.

One thing I use very often with LJ is the possibility to assign 2 faders to the movement speed & amplitude...is this possible with the elation? Maybe on the data wheels?

So when I run a show, I can easily brake my movements, or speed them up...? This is a big item for me..

Thanks in advance for the help, some more questions may rise, right now I'm reading the manuel, and watching the youtube vids.

The Sd2 has shape movements, these movements have amplitude and speed by using the scroll wheels.
So, I will say yes, but not with faders.

Ok, scroll wheels will be fine, but this is also adjustable duringlive playback?
And these shapes, is there a possibility to add a delay over multiple fixtures?
So in example 10 heads make a circle, but each with a second delay or something?

No delay on SD2 only on SD3.
Not really adjustable duringlive playback. It can be, but you have to know how to use the console.
Go through the user manual and look for factory chases.
