Hi, we recently acquired a Show Designer 1 and set it up on one of our rigs. Whilst programming everything went in ok. When we try to call saved scenes we now get the Error Message - "MEMORY ERROR! 01 - CAN'T CALL SCENE".

Nothing has been backed up as the programming and show were on the same day. Is there anyway of recovering the Scenes? Not to big a deal if not but would like to know why it happens before the unit is used again. Might it be the internal battery?

I also now have problems saving new scenes - Ill set a scene - go 'Record' > 'Scene' > 6 (for example) on page 1. It says saved but at the same time puts the items into blackout mode but without the blackout LED lighting up?

Did you know that holding down black button for 3 seconds clears the buffer memory. it sounds as if you may have a full buffer memory
Try clearing it by holding the black button for 3-5 seconds.. see how that works.

Thanks for the quick reply - I didn't know about the black button 3-5sec buffer clear. I have just tried it and the display says 'ALL CHANNELS 0', but still have the same problem. Any other ideas?

Then i wouldn't know, sounds like a service issue. you can call our service dept
