The operator 192 has 2 usb ports - a Type-A on top for the thumb drive or light and a Type-B on the back - like you'd see on a perif such as a printer.

What is the Type-B on the back for? It's a downstream connector, so, can it be used to connect to mydmx software?

No. There is absolutely no way to hook up a dmx operator to the my dmx interface.

That's cool.

But still, what's the rear-mount usb connector for? Is it something that I can use to make my life easier?

You know I am not sure but I doubt it would make anything easier. Haha. Just kidding. You know I had a dmx op 192 a while ago but I never looked that much into it. Also the dmx op is a ADJ supported product. Not elation.
