Hi all, sorry to noob like this but I have been trying to contact Elation for 2 weeks and have not gotten any emails or calls back. So please don't just give me a "search noob"

I have to set up some displays for some lighting equipment, mostly LED lighting, and I need it to be synced to music. Basically I have a midi foot switch and I am going to purchase a PC DMX controller (Elation if it can do what I need) and I need to to switch scenes when I hit a button on the midi switch. The wrinkle is that it also has to trigger music, which I can do as an MP3 or whatever will work. Then as the music starts, it starts a set lighting routine. There will be a dozen switches on the pedal, and each one needs to simultaneously trigger the lighting routine and the specific song to start.

Can you set the Elation software to trigger the music?

I think all the lighting control (strobes, fading, etc. based on timers to go with the music) can be done. It is just making it trigger the music that I am having trouble finding info on.
