Friends,

I have an older Show Designer I (2005/3.12 version I believe). The club that I work for will be upgrading the lighting...adding a number Vision Scan 250's & Design Spot 250's. I know the definitions for these newer fixtures are not in the fixture library.

If I were to go through the process to update the fixture library which does include the definitions for these newer fixtures... Would I lose the fixture definitions for the older Martin 812's from the library...which are not included in the current version??

Just wondering...?

Good question..
I know that you should save your work before you upgrade.

When and if you upgrade the Showdesigner will keep all original work programmed. So you will not lose any programming work.
The 812's will still be set up as fixtures, but they may no longer be in your library.

If you save your work you should be fine.
