DMX operator II not following Midi eventlist propperlyGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
my DMX operator 2 sometimes wont respond to Midi "note on" events. it seems that he just ignores events from time to time. It does that from all available sources(DAW or keyboard). Midi monitor shows the events propperly, operator skips events now and then. Can u please help me out with this? Everything will be good in the end. If its not good, then its not the end.

So is there an effort from Elation to fix this problem? Or should i just look elsewhere for more reliable equipment? Im not really at home with DMX and lighting, i do more music and video. Sporadic dropouts like this over Midi or any other protocol are not acceptable and i wonder how this can be known and still not be fixed yet. Anyway, what are the alternatives? Im running a video playback show and my setup at the moment is as follows : Macbook Pro running Qlab controlling video output to Panasonic 6300. Audio output to Presonus 16.0.2 and Midi to operator 2. I would be fine with 128 DMX channels, but i can't have enough presets. Qlab doesnt output DMX so i stuck with Midid or MSC. any suggestions about possible controllers that do operate properly?
