Show Designer 3 Chase Fade time...Newbie!Go ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
I built a simple movement step chase program last night for a show this weekend. Once I started the chase I was able to adjust the fade time to where the fixtures (4 technobeams) moved smoothly. However, when I invoked audio mode, the fade time seemed not to have any effect on the chase and the fixtures were moving very rapidly, almost erratically) from step to step. Is there a way to invoke a fade time when your chases are set to audio? Or is there something that I have done wrong? If it matters, when I set up the chase I set the audio beat option to allow beat syncing. Thanks in advance for the help. You guys are great! PitMan PitMan

All of the Show Designer controllers disable fading when audio is switched on. There is no way to predict what the speed will be so therefore no fade time can be calculated. The only solution is to adjust the pan tilt speed on the light so that it moves smoothly. Some lights track smoothly anyway so you usually don't have to do anything.
